Air Jordan I (1) Phat Low - White / Midnight Navy

Following the same color placement as the black/white Air Jordan I Phat Low, the Air Jordan I (1) Phat low comes in a white/midnight navy colorway. These AJ1s use a white leather base and white midsole, contrasted by midnight navy leather panels throughout the shoe to match the outsole. This two-toned shoe features a fuzzy midnight navy swoosh to mix things up.

Air Jordan I (1) High - White / Metallic Green

As part of their upcoming Do The Right Thing pack, which will be composed of three OG colorways of the Air Jordan I (1), Jordan Brand is set to release this white/metallic green AJ1. Featuring a white leather upper with metallic green accents seen on the swoosh, out-sole, laces, tongue, and Jordan Wings logo on the ankle, this colorway is already on a plethora of sneakerheads’ wish lists. Another key aspect of this sneaker, which appears to be different from a sample pair, is the inner lining which is now full green rather than having a unique pattern inspired by Do The Right Thing. The Air Jordan I (1) High – White/Metallic Green is expected to be available for purchase in July ‘09 for a retail price of $105.

Jordan 1 Flight Low - White Cement

It seems like Jordan Brand is bringing all the classic colorways of the numbered jay’s and putting them on all JB’s newest models, such as the Jordan 1 Flight Low in white cement. The shoe has a white leather upper along with a white patent leather toe area. Elements from the classic jay’s are put on the shoe, such as the lace holes, dunk sole, and cement speckled midsole. The Jordan symbol is on the tongue and side panel and the back panel features holes with reflective netting within it and 23 under it.

Air Jordan I (1) Low Sample - Tuxedo

Jordan Brand dropped the Air Jordan I (1) Phat Low Prom Pack just in time for the big dance, but if all that patent leather wasn’t enough they may possibly have another model lined up. This Air Jordan I has been given the “Tuxedo” nickname as it sports a simple white and black color scheme with a layer of black patent leather surrounding the white areas of the sneaker. As of now there is no word of a release date, perhaps next year when Homecoming rolls around. Whatever the case may be, stay posted for more details regarding whether or not these samples do in fact drop.

Air Jordan I (1) '09 Preview

Jordan Brand has given a preview of some of the shoes that it has coming out for 2009. During a private preview Jordan Brand showed a slew of unique Air Jordan 1s in both high top and low top form.

The high top Air Jordan I (1) shown are two versions. The first is an all black version made of leather with red laces, sole, and a large red Nike Swoosh, which seems to be made out of a felt material giving it a fuzzy look. The shoe has yellow stitching that really complements the black and red and brings the shoe together yet still keeps it looking fresh. The next AJ1 is also the high top form, but reverts back to more conservative colors, which are gray and black. The shoe is an equal combination of black and gray, but the gray is more creased giving it that worn-in/retro look.

The low top AJ1s shown are two versions all of which have polka dots. The first is predominately black with yellow polka dots, while the second one is predominately white with green polka dots. So if your looking to get your polka dots on this year then Jordan Brand has you covered. Be on the look out for these to drop soon.

Release Reminder: April 4, 2009

Every once in a while, a sneaker threatens to usurp Jordan Brand’s monopoly of popular weekend sneaker releases. This time around, the Nike Air Yeezy is that sneaker, and it has definitely caused a stir in the industry ever since it was first seen around a year ago. Though there are five variations of the Air Jordan I (1) releasing this weekend, the Nike Air Yeezy is most definitely one of the most anticipated sneakers of 2009. The Nike Air Yeezy is set to release in extremely limited quantities at a retail price of $215; thus, many sneakerheads may have to forget the Yeezy, and end up copping some Air Jordans instead.

This weekend, Jordan Brand is set to release a plethora of sneakers including the first couple colorways of the Air Jordan 2.5 Team 5/8 as well as an Easter Basket Pack and a Polka Dot Pack. A Georgetown Hoyas inspired Air Jordan Phly Legend is also set to release tomorrow, April 4, 2009. The Easter Basket Pack is composed of an Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid, an Air Jordan Phly Legend, and an Air Jordan I Retro Low Velcro. The Polka Dot Pack will release in the form of an Air Jordan 1 Mid and an Air Jordan 1 Low Phat. Jordan Brand will also continue their AJ1 High Strap series with a new black/university blue colorway. The last sneaker releasing this weekend is a new black/varsity red/white colorway of the Air Jordan 2009 (2K9). Check out detailed pictures and the tech information for each pair after the jump.

Air Jordan I (1) Low - Prom Pack

Let’s go back in time (or forward if you’re still in school) to your high school Senior Prom. You go out to rent your tux, and you pick up something pretty clean. They give you the shoe box, and you open it up to find out your rented shoes either look extremely cheap or have been pre-worn. Well, that’s where this pack comes into play. The Air Jordan I (1) Low Prom Pack is one of the most interesting sets to release in a while. Both pairs are featured in patent leather, just like most traditional tuxedo shoes. Even the shoe laces are those of tuxedo shoes. To finish the shoes off, the holes on the toebox are removed for a more authentic look. Be on the lookout for these to release April 18th.
