Prior to his second retirement, Michael Jordan released the Air Jordan XIV (14) in several color-ways in 1998 and 1999. Of those color-ways, an Air Jordan Original 14 (XIV) Low was featured in White, Obsidian and Columbia Blue in its 1999 release. This low cut model is definitely very sleek and stylish, the classic Columbia blue is very classy and traditional. It was released on August 4th, 1999 and retailed at $130.

Air Jordan Original – OG 14 (XIV) Indiglo Black / Black – White – Indiglo

What we feel is the best Air Jordan Original 14 (XIV) along with many others, the Air Jordan OG 14 (XIV) Indiglo stood out yards away, and was a exciting release. Composed of leather and suede, the Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Original was the last Jordan XIV high to release.

Although Michael Jordan did not wear the Air Jordan Original 14 (XIV) Indiglo in a NBA game, Reggie Miller was. Featuring a Black / Black – White – Indiglow color-way, the Indiglo’s released June 12th 1999.

Air Jordan Original – OG 14 (XIV) Last Shot Black / Black – Varsity Red

Another piece to Michael Jordan’s achievement puzzle, is the Last Shot in 1998 where Jordan pulled up for a jumper over Bryon Scott to win the 1998 NBA Championship. At the time, Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Original Black / Red aka Last Shot.

The Air Jordan Original 14 (XIV) Last Shot featured a Black / Black – Varsity Red colorway. Although Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 14 (XIV) OG Last Shot very early, the public release launched March 27th 2008 with a retail price of $150.

Air Jordan Original – OG 14 (XIV) Oxy White / Black – Oxidized Green

Back in 1999, if you wanted a sneaker that was sleek, and designed after a Ferrari F355F1, then the Air Jordan Original 14 (XIV) Oxy was a wise decision to wear. The Air Jordan 14 (XIV) OG Oxy featured a White / Black Oxidized Green color-way, hence the nickname.

As well, in 1999, the Air Jordan OG 14 (XIV) Oxy was not the best seller amongst Jordan fans, but if you were a fan of the Original Jordan XIV, you had to grab them. You could walk into stores February 13th 1999 and purchased this pair.

One of the most exciting Air Jordan OG 14 (XIV) from the bunch, the Air Jordan 14 (XIV) White / Black – Varsity Red was dubbed Candy Cane due to the color scheme, and the perforated side panels.

Although Michael Jordan did not wear the Air Jordan 14 (XIV) OG Candy Cane White / Black – Varsity Red in a game, people still loved and bought pairs. Original release was January 9th 1999 and had a ticket price of $150.

Air Jordan Original – OG 14 (XIV) Black Toes White / Black – Varsity Red

Released on October 31st 1998 which was Halloween, is the Air Jordan Original 14 (XIV) White / Black – Varsity Red dubbed Black Toes. This OG Air Jordan 14 (XIV) featured a black suede toe box, smooth premium leather, with a vent on the lower midsole.

Although some people thought the $150 price tag of the Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Original Black Toes was a little high, eventually each pair sold. Like other pairs, the Air Jordan 14 (XIV) OG White / Black – Varsity Red did not contain the perforated side panels and stitching.

Air Jordan 14 (XIV)

Air Jordan XIV – Air Jordan 14

The Air Jordan 14 has room in every ones hearts. Maybe not by the looks, but the Air Jordan XIV was the last model Air Jordan Michael Jordan wore in a Chicago Bulls jersey.

At the time Michael owned a Ferrari F355F1. The design of the Ferrari F355F1 looks exactly like the shield on the Air Jordan XIV, and the vents on the side of the Ferrari F355F1 were also used on the Air Jordan XIV.

The Air Jordan 14 was the first to have silver tips on the laces, which also had a Jumpman logo. Each pair had a total of seven jumpman logo’s, which together equals out to fourteen (XIV). Low profile Zoom Air Units were located at the forefoot and heel. If your feet sweat while you play, then the vent on the side should help out.

With all the good qualities of the Air Jordan XIV you might think nothing could go wrong with them, but sadly there are a couple minor flaws. The toe box area would come unglued over time. Also the teeth on the sides (phylon midsole) would crease very quickly.

In 1998-1999 five color ways released of the Air Jordan 14 ($150.00), and three low models ($130.00). In 2005-2006 a total of ten color ways re-released of the AJ XIV ($150.00), and two low models re-released ($130.00).
