BigTimeKicks.com: Nike Air Max 95

2009 has been a good year for Nike’s popular Air Max 95 model. After seeing a handful of re-releases in some of its most adored colorways, (’Neon’, ‘Freshwater’, ‘Chili’, and ‘Safety Orange’), we didn’t expect to see more of Nike’s mid-nineties staple any time soon. Fortunately for us, the shoe will continue to see the light of day, taking on its popular “Comet” and “Slate” colorways for a new set of releases. No word on any specific release dates, but both models are expected to drop sometime in 2010.

BigTimeKicks.com: Nike Air Max 1 ND

The 2009 holiday season is shaping up to be a big one- due in large part to a number of highly sought after Jordan releases. As always, Nike’s trying to do its part to make a splash with other sneakers as well. The Nike Air Max 1 ND pictured here comes in a red, white, and black colorway that also sports an upper made out of suede and mesh. Inside, the shoe’s sole has a picture of what seems to be a cartoon gopher; which, if nothing else, serves as an added touch to separate this Nike Air Max 1 from others. As we mentioned, expect these to drop later this year during the holiday season.

Bigtimekicks.com Nike Air Max 90 – Yellow

Nike has unleashed another crocskin model in the form of the Nike Air Max 90. Here we have a very close look at the sample model, as the shoe uses premium yellow croc material to offset the white midsole and black outsole. Crocodile skin is in; even in yellow. This shoe definitely stands out more than your typical Italian crocodile leather dress shoe. Be on the lookout for these babies as they stand in sample form.

Nike Air Max 97 LUX LE in a black colorway

We last saw the retro of the original Nike Air Max 97 in metallic silver and varsity red. This time, we have the Nike Air Max 97 LUX LE in a black colorway. This AM97 rocks an all black upper with various grey accents throughout the front of the shoe to contrast the black mesh and rubber materials. The Nike Air Max unit has a dark translucent hue to keep this shoe dark, along with a sweet translucent outsole. Of course, these 97’s have the reflective material making this another classic shoe. Nike Air Max 97 – Metallic Silver / Varsity Red / Neutral Grey

Just as usual, Nike is bringing back hits from the past. This time around, the Nike Air Max 97 has been retro’ed in the metallic silver/varsity red/neutral grey colorway. Although 1997 was only twelve years ago, it doesn’t hurt to have a fresh pair to rock. The shoe uses metallic silver leather and mesh, and most of all, the reflective lining throughout the shoe. To finish things off right, the shoe has a white midsole with Air Max unit and a clean black outsole.

Nike Air Max Light – White / Fresh Water – Black

Fresh water has appeared on a recently occasionally over the last few weeks with the Air Max 95, Air Force II and Air Griffey Max 1, but this color is transitioning to the Nike Air Max Light along with white and black. This Air Max Light utilizes a liberal amount of color with the highlight of the sneaker being the fresh water. Other details include a white base with mesh and a black mudguard. You can now find this Air Max LIght online and will be hitting retailers in the near future.

Nike Air Max 1 ND – White / Silver

After experiencing the Nike Air Max 1 Lunar Pack, it seems like Nike is continuing its space theme with this Nike Air Max 1 ND in white/silver. The shoe is comprised of silver tumbled leather throughout, resembling space-age technology. It also has mesh on the toebox, tongue, and side, and is contrasted by a white midsole where the Air Max unit is placed. The sole uses silver and black rubber to match the rest of the shoe, thus, completing the futuristic look.

Nike Air Max Light – Europe Releases

Four different colorways have released for the Nike Air Max Light, the only catch is, they’re in Europe! The Nike running shoe has come out in black, white, blue/white, and red/white. The shoe is comprised of leather, suede, plastic, mesh, and rubber to create the ultimate running shoe. Of course the Air Max unit is installed in the midsole for comfort and performance. Mesh is found on the toebox, tongue, and ankle panel for maximized breathability. The first two colorways, which are both accented by auxiliary colors, are more towards the typical running shoe colorway, while the latter two pairs are definitely more on the stylish side.

The next addition to the Nike Sportswear Spring/Summer 2009 collection is the Nike Air Max 90 Current Flywire in black/black. These AM 90’s aren’t your regular run of the mill; these shoes contain the latest Nike running technology, including Flywire, which supports the whole shoe without adding to its weight. Such technology makes these running shoes much lighter and easier to carry on your feet, and the comfortability of the shoe adds to the overall quality of these AM 90’s. The shoe is made of 100% black mesh material for extra breathability and is available for about $190.

Nike Womens Air Max 90 – White / Maize

A new Nike Air Max 90 for the female sneaker aficionados has just began to hit retailers across the nation. This new style features a clean yellow and white colorway which hosts a variety of materials including patent leather and mesh. The upper of this sneaker is essentially all yellow with the exceptions of the swoosh, shoe lace region, midsole, and heel which are all bright white.
